I feel compelled to give this place a review because it holds a special place in my life. My family has gone to this place since I was a little kid and was a staple for most Korean families in the NW suburbs.
Fast forward many, many years, and ever since I moved to Chicago, I found myself coming with a friend nearly every Friday for probably the last 1.5 years (I've probably gone around 60-70 times since the beginning of 2018.). I always order the same thing (gochujjapchae - stir fried pork and jjang pong), and all the waiters and the owners know me, and so they start cooking the moment I walk in.
I am a creature of habit, but I take the train from downtown Chicago and my friend who lives out in the burbs picks me up to go to this restaurant - it isn't a simple walk in the park. That's how much I love the food that I get. There are no places I have been to that make the jjang pong they do - it's a rich broth with handmade noodles and every time, they try something a little different, which is a testament to their willingness to get the right flavor. I would say the times I've caved for the mongolian beef, it's been one of the best I've had. Everyone is always friendly and always provide good service.
If you don't believe me about having gone here 60-70 times since 2018, ask the owners and ask them about the people who get the jjang pong and gochujjapchae. We've never deviated from our order.
tl;dr - go and try the jjang pong and gochujjapchae (or Mongolian beef). -

I honestly love Twin Dragon and really believe they need more stars.
They changed ownership maybe a year or 2 ago and the taste of the food and quality really improved. Especially in the meat. My go to order is the jjamppong, gan-jjajjang, and mongolian beef. SO GOOD. The jjampong is always flavorful and has a lot of seafood. The mongolian beef is always soft and not too chewy while having that perfect sweet yet savory flavor. I will say though the gan-jjajjang needs more salt or something. It's missing a little something but still you can really taste how fresh it is.
If you're into Korean-Chinese food, this place is a must. They are definitely worth more stars than they have. -

When I say gross food... i mean it!
The ONLY thing good here was the service! She tried to make me happy but the food was so gross.... i tried the sesame chicken. Blah! I tried the glass noodle with chicken blah! I tried the general taso chicken...blah blah blah!! And it was expensive!! They dont even have fried rice.
Lastly, at the end they brought out the most non editable dessert. When we walked in ppl had left it on the table and we saw why.... all in all... don't go. -

I don't know where these complainers are talking about !
The orange chicken is delicious, the presentation of a whole
cut up orange surrounds the melt in your mouth dish.
Their mongolian beef is always fantastic and very tasty and
very tender; with their sauce and scallions. Their crispy duck
is the best me and my wife ever tasted; a great portion and
is always fresh. we have been going to the Twin Dragon and
have never been disappointed. The owner always comes by and
asks us how is the meal. I think sometimes people put poor rated
ads in here so people go elsewhere. The food is excellent and the
server staff is always friendly; and the food is always served fresh
and hot. 5 stars -

A great blend of korean and chinese cuisine and my personal spot for Jjamyung & Jambong. One of the best in my opinion for those two dishes. The service and decor could be better but as with any restaurant, the food quality should be the focus. This place meets that expectation.
